‘Sathya’ ready with 'A' certificate

Back after a long stay in the cans ‘Sathya’ of producer, director cum actor Kumar Govind has given final shape to his suspense thriller. If the audiences don’t understand the first half of the proceedings then it is a win for me in the second half says Kumar Govind an old horse in Kannada cinema. He has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues, done choreography and directed the film besides investing on it.

Starting his career from ‘Sh…’ (a breakthrough film for director Upendra) a suspense thriller the Karate exponent Kumar Govind in the early 90’s as producer and actor later satisfied himself as an actor. Thenhe started his own outdoor unit. Three years ago he started ‘Sathya’ and now the film is all set to hit the screen in April first week.

Kumar Govind has shot for the film ‘Sathya’ in some of the original Mumbai Red-light areas besides doing shooting in Kashmir, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Kotang for 97 days. Mysore Mohan’s son Gautham a software engineer has scored the music. The film ‘Sathya’ gives a feeling of ‘Travel with India’ says young buddy Gautham. He has used live instruments for this film scoring and took 70 plus days to finalize the music.

Lal Babu who has worked with Santosh Sivan wields the camera. ‘Sathya’ has been given ‘A’ certificate by the Regional Censor board.
